Advanced Search The Advanced Search feature is extremely fast and flexible and helps in locating parameter specific records. This search provides two filter options for conducting an incisive search.
Through the first filter, you can look for your search text on the basis of:
- Keywords (default selection)
- Article Title (To search for articles on the basis of their title.)
- Author (To search for articles written by a particular author.)
- Journal Volume (To search for an article in a particular journal volume.)
- Journal Issue (To search for an article in a particular journal issue.)
- Initial Pages (To look for articles starting on a specific page number.)
- Journal Year (To search for the article in the journal published in a certain year.)
Through the second filter, you can look for your search text in:
- All Journals (default selection)
- Indian Journal of History of Science
- Proceedings of INSA A Physical Sciences
- Proceedings of INSA B Biological Science
- Indian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics
You can also select the number of results you want displayed on the screen.
How to Search
- Select the appropriate criteria from the first drop down menu.
Default selection: Keywords
- Select the appropriate Journal option from the second drop down menu.
Default selection: All Journals
- Enter your search text in the text box provided.
- Select the required display option.
Default display option: 10 results
- Hit the
button.
View Search Result
On successful search, the interface will display
- the Journal Title (in which the search text was found)
- the Journal Vol.
- the Journal Issue
- the Journal Year
- the Article Title (name of the article containing your search text)
- the Author of the article
- the Keywords
- the Initial Page of the article (this page may not necessarily contain your search text)
